Hello children,
I was searching the internet last night about dragons and your blog came up. I live near White Scar Cave near Ingleton, North Yorkshire. Recently, there has been rumours about a dragon. Some people are saying they’ve seen it around the hills and other people have said they have heard it at night. I’m not sure what to believe, is there any way that you can help me?

I saw the comment from Sarah and realised she lives near me. I have a farm just up the road from the cave and last week my wife found what looks like a giant scale stuck in one of the trees in our garden. We didn’t know what is was but now i’m wondering if it is anything to do with dragons?

This is Mrs Sand again. I heard the children from Year 2 have been investigating dragons at White Scar Cave. Some of the farmers and I would be very interested to know what you have found out. Can you write a report to let us know? We’re still very worried and don’t know what to think.

Hello,
Thank you for sending your reports to it. The local people have been very interested to read about the clues you found. We agree, if there is a dragon, it would be a nocturnal creature as nobody has seen it during the day and it seems to like dark places.
